10 Greatest Ever WWE Heel Stables

4. Evolution

Led By: Triple H Prominent Members: Triple H, Ric Flair, Batista, Randy Orton Date(s): 2003-2005 The concept behind Evolution was the best thing about it €” it showed the €˜evolution€™ of a superstar across multiple decades. It had the mentor from the old generation (Ric Flair), the superstar for the current generation (Triple H), and the two brightest stars of the future (Randy Orton and Batista). Evolution was a perfect launching platform for the latter two €” the association with The Naitch and The Game gave them instant credibility. They were instantly successful, and by the end of 2009, they possessed nearly all of the gold in the company. Orton was Intercontinental Champion, Flair and Batista were Tag Team Champs, and the King of Kings was the World Heavyweight Champion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrS8vXwcQ9k All good things of course, come to an end. They first turned on Orton, and then, the remaining three turned on each other. Orton would later try and start a similar group called The Legacy, a stable of wrestlers descended from other wrestlers. But still, nothing has ever come close to the expansiveness and pure might of Evolution.
