10 Best McMahon Family WrestleMania Moments
Leave it to Vince and co. to show the rest of the roster how it's down on the grandest stage.
WrestleMania will always be a huge part of the McMahon family legacy. Vince and his wife Linda risked everything on the first WrestleMania in 1984. It was a huge gamble, one that literally made the World Wrestling Federation a success when a failure would have seen them out of business. Thirty one years later and WrestleMania is bigger than ever. Vince was present on-camera at some of the earlier 'Manias, either doing a spot of ring announcing, commentating or schmoozing with celebrities backstage. You can't blame Vince for wanting to get in on the act. It was, after all, his brainchild. Besides, Vince was such a natural performer and the shows usually benefited from his being there. As the years went on, Vince himself got more and more involved at WrestleMania. By 'Mania XV, he was the top heel in the company and a constant fixture on WWF television. He played a significant part at that year's 'Mania, an on-screen cameo which grew considerably as the years went on to him actually wrestling in marquee matches. Of course Vince wasn't the only McMahon to make his presence felt at the showcase of the immortals: daughter Stephanie, son Shane and even his camera-shy wife Linda got in on the act, too. Along the way they have produced some wonderfully entertaining moments (and a couple of stinkers, too). Love them or hate them, the McMahons are born performers and some of their finest performances have come at WrestleMania.
