A McMahon in ever corner. That's how the main event of WrestleMania 2000 was built up. The top-liner was a fatal four way elimination match for the WWF Championship with Triple H (with Stephanie) taking on The Rock (with Vince), The Big Show (with Shane) and Mick Foley (with Linda). And you thought The Authority was overexposed... The final two were 'The Game' and 'The Great One'. You could sense some McMahon screwiness, but not many thought that Vince would turn heel (again) on The Rock. Mainly because, if you thought about it for more than three seconds, you'd realise it didn't make a single bit of sense. It was a shocking moment, one that lead to the heel leaving WrestleMania as WWF Champion for the first time in the company's history. Was it a miss-fire? It's debatable. Was it a surprising and unpredictable moment? Absolutely.
