For many fans, Vince McMahon versus Bret Hart was a dream match, one that very few would ever thought would happen, due to the very real animosity between them and Bret's physical well-being since retiring in 2000 (he suffered from post-concussion syndrome and had to be very careful in the ring). The dream match became a reality at WrestleMania XXVI, following Bret's emotional return to the company. The build, stemming from the Montreal Screwjob (naturally), had been great. There was only one outcome on the night: Bret beating the hell out of Vince for ten minutes, before making him tap out to the Sharpshooter. And that's exactly how it transpired. Vince took his lumps like a man, allowing Bret to unleash thirteen year's worth of frustration with some bone-shattering steel chair shots. Was the match a masterpiece? No, nor did it anyone expect it to be. Was it great seeing Vince get the tar beat out of him by a man he had wronged so many times? You're damn right it was.
