Whatever Ronda Rousey's immediate future may hold, it's hard for anyone to dispute that her first year in WWE was an absolute unparalleled success. This goes beyond her kayfabe achievement as the longest-reigning RAW Women's Champion. The fact that all of her big PPV matches have delivered and then-some speaks volumes not just of her as a performer, but of the progress of WWE's women's division. Regardless of what you think of her personally or professionally, she absolutely deserves to and is the reason women are main-eventing WrestleMania for the first time ever.

And to think, none of us had any idea she would start off with such a bang at WrestleMania 34. Given this was her first professional match, most were rightly skeptical of what she was going to be able to pull off, especially when her female dance partner was Stephanie McMahon.

Well, as laid-out it was, guess what? She pulled off a lot, and the crowd ate it up. With expertly planned heat spots on the part of Triple H and Stephanie, and Ronda introducing an offense that looked unlike anyone else's, the crowd welcomed her as a member with open arms, and this match shockingly ended up as the match of the night. A true WrestleMania classic, to be sure.
