#DIY looked to be the perennial bridesmaids of NXT. Coming close to being NXT Tag Team Champions on numerous occasions, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa looked to have blown their big chance at TakeOver: Brooklyn II, when Dash and Dawson forced Gargano to submit.

However, fate smiled down on #DIY and offered them a second chance, this time in a 2 out of 3 falls match in Toronto.

The match these two had in Brooklyn was great, but this was on a whole new level. These two teams had so much chemistry, they could have opened a laboratory, and the story the teams told with one another was executed to perfection.

The final spot of the match – a double submission that saw Dash and Dawson clinging onto each other’s hands to try and stop the other from tapping – is now legendary, and the moment that The Revival finally gave in and relinquished the titles to #DIY will live on as one of the most elating moments in NXT history.

The journey that Gargano and Ciampa went on to reach the titles, the perfect casting of The Revival as their foils and the insane in-ring performances all came together in Toronto to produce one of the best tag team matches ever seen - and one of the most satisfying title victories you will ever witness as a wrestling fan.
