When Hulk Hogan finally collided with the colossus that was Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III, the mammoth main event set all kinds of records and carved out a legacy that is still talked about to this day. As a result, the rematch would unsurprisingly also do record-setting business and Hulk/Andre 2 was a must-see match for the ages.

Taking place on a special edition of Saturday Night's Main Event that aired on a Friday for the first time - necessitating a subtle name change to simply The Main Event - the reunion of the irresistible force and the immovable object made for a hugely anticipated show. The bout drew an insane 15.2 Nielsen rating, making it the most watched wrestling show in WWE history. An astounding 33 million people tuned to see the hugely anticipated rematch and they would not be disappointed.

In one of the most creative finishes ever, 'Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase had allegedly paid off the referee - replacing Dave Hebner with his "evil" brother, Earl Hebner - who counted Hogan down for the three count, despite 'The Hulkster' obviously raising a shoulder after two. Awful butterfly suplex aside, the finish was a genius use of the Hebner twins and made for a shocking World Title change and captivating TV.
