10. Macho Man Randy Savage Brutalizes Crush (WrestleMania 10)
Five months prior to WrestleMania, Savage and Crush had a major falling out over Savage's apparent unwillingness to save Crush from a horrific beating by Yokozuna. Crush was sidelined in kayfabe for several months, returning to confront Savage, who tried to reason with him. Crush feigned conciliation, and then cheap-shotted Savage, dropping him mouth first on the edge of the guardrail. Crush ironically aligned with Yokozuna, as well as Mr. Fuji, that night. Savage was expelled from his color commentary spot on Raw for going after Crush weeks later, and the payoff wouldn't come until WrestleMania, in a falls count anywhere match. While the match was far from a classic, the Garden crowd believed in Savage, and cheered wildly for him as he believably took out five months worth of frustration and rage in one match. Savage had that kind of working credibility.
