10 Greatest WWE Hell In A Cell Matches Ever

6. Triple H vs. Cactus Jack

At the turn of the millennium, Triple H was proving his doubters wrong by establishing himself as a major player in the main event scene of the WWE. One of the ways he achieved that was by taking himself to hell and back€”figuratively, of course€”in a devastating program with Mick Foley and his many changing faces. The final instalment of that epic program was a Hell in a Cell match, fittingly, at No Way Out 2000. Foley was competing as Cactus Jack here, which should tell you everything you need to know about just how hardcore this match would be. Barbie predictably made an appearance€”though perhaps less predictable was the fact that it was set on fire€”and there was an announce table bump for both men; Triple H€™s in the form of a Pulling Piledriver and Cactus Jack€™s a leap from the side of the Cell. But undoubtedly the biggest spot of the match was Cactus taking a tumble through the Cell roof. The resultant caving of the ring canvass suggested that this was indeed a planned spot, but that doesn€™t make it any less insane or any less incredible to watch. With moments like that on display, it€™s nigh on impossible to leave this match off any top 10 Hell in a Cell list. Ultimately, Triple H would score the win with the Pedigree, forcing Cactus Jack into a €œretirement€ of sorts, but by then this match had already established itself as one of the great Hell in a Cell encounters.
