10 Greatest WWE Referees Ever

9. Jimmy Korderas

Jimmy Korderas is one of the more underrated referees in WWE history. He had been a part of several (in)famous matches and moments, beginning with his first WrestleMania, WrestleMania 4. The young Korderas- with a full-set of hair and no goatee- was calling the Intercontinental Championship match, featuring champion Honky Tonk Man defending against fan-favorite Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake. The finish called for Jimmy Hart to stop Korderas from ending the match as Honky faded in Beefcake's sleeperhold. To reach that goal, Hart swung his megaphone at Korderas, legitimately knocking the referee out; Korderas had to be stretchered out of the ring. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xrhg04_brutus-the-barber-beefcake-vs-the-honky-tonk-man_sport On the other side, Korderas had the unfortunate assignment of refereeing another Intercontinental Championship match, that being The Godfather defending against "The Blue Blazer" aka Owen Hart. Of course, Owen tragically fell to his death from the rafters before the match, and Owen's screaming at Korderas to move likely saved Jimmy's life, too. No longer a referee, leaving WWE in 2009, Korderas is trying his hand at announcing, acting as an analyst on "Right After Wrestling" on SIRIUS Radio. He also wrote a book, The Three Count- My Life In Stripes As a WWE Referee which you should find a copy of right away.
