This one raged pretty much all through 1994, following Owen's spiteful heel turn at that year's Royal Rumble, and continuing through a masterpiece of a match at WrestleMania X, where Owen scored the upset over his ex-champion brother.

When Bret regained the WWE Championship later that night, and Owen took King of the Ring honors that June, a collision course was set for SummerSlam, matching up the siblings inside of a steel cage.

Invoking family members Jim Neidhart, Bruce Hart, and even a returning Davey Boy Smith for the story put the Hart family feud many cuts above the watered-down fare of the era. That Bret and Owen easily made magic in the ring together only adds to the legendary status of their lengthy feud.
