10 Hidden Gem Wrestlers That Would Blow WWE Fans' Minds

9. Gisele Shaw

Ravaged by years of panicked pillaging by WWE officials triggered by the threat of an ITV World of Sport revival that lasted 10 episodes before folding, the once-booming British independent scene is in a rebuilding phase. Cards are largely paper-thin and devoid of star power, a few names aside. A path has cleared for others to ascend, and the likes of Ricky Knight Jr. and The Young Guns coming through in RevPro offer hope, but they are just the first green shoots to emerge from this forest's charred floor.

Women's divisions around the country have been particularly hard hit, with almost every name of even moderate renown snapped up by bigger promotions. A developing wrestler herself, Gisele Shaw, has been tasked with shouldering the burden of carrying the depleted scene through this difficult growth period, acquitting herself well as PROGRESS and RevPro's Women's Champion though while continuing her own growth.

It's the type of job one would usually hand to a veteran with thrice her experience, but Shaw has done a good job. Her in-ring game is becoming cleaner and more diverse with every passing month and while she'd benefit from a longer stint on the indies, a place like the Performance Center could be a good idea for her to work out those final few rough edges.
