10 Hidden Gem Wrestlers That Would Blow WWE Fans' Minds
7. JJ Garrett
Bron Breakker has gotten over in NXT 2.0 because he's a Steiner. The same dumb jock energy that once pulsed through his father, Rick, and uncle Scott makes him the most engaging young prospect on a confused brand crammed with doomed-to-fail cartoon gimmicks and New Generation throwbacks. A musclebound meathead with the energy of someone hankering for his seventh Red Bull of the day, he looks like his dad, talks like his uncle, and throws people around like both, with only the dodgy ring name preventing a full embrace of his wrestling lineage.
JJ Garrett is of a similar ilk.
He isn't as big and beefy as Brekker, but his ring gear, wrestling style, and attitude, he's clearly going for a similar vibe. The incredible mullet makes him the spitting image of Scott in his youth and with his personally more outwardly arrogant than Bron's, there'd be more than enough separation for both to exist on WWE television at the same time.
Garrett has enjoyed a productive year regularly outshining the more celebrated independent names that he wrestles across the United States. Expect his pure Steiner energy to continue infecting the American scene as he progresses, though it can't be long before he starts appearing on major companies' radars too.
