10 Hidden Gem Wrestlers That Would Blow WWE Fans' Minds
5. Megan Bayne
Like fellow list-maker JJ Garrett, Megan Bayne has already worked a handful of dates for AEW, competing in a trio of Dark and Dark: Elevation squashes with Nyla Rose, Thunder Rosa, and Big Swole earlier this year. She has also tied up with the likes of Deonna Purrazzo, Tay Conti, and Jordynne Grace in an experience-building year for the 23-year-old, who looks set to make a major wrestling leap sooner rather than later.
Bayne rules. Her levels of balance and control are impressive and show that there's much more to her game than the power that immediately catches the eye. Everything she does in the ring looks fluid and effortless. Moving around the canvas with the poise of somebody who's been doing this for decades, she already has a strong grasp of some of wrestling's core fundamentals, giving her the perfect foundation to build the rest of her act on.
Towering over a good portion of her independent opponents, Bayne works to her superior size and strength. The Greek Goddess gimmick means she immediately stands out on a scene where characters often veer too far in the directions of "super serious" or "super wacky" and though that should be expected to evolve if she ends up signing somewhere, the rest of her toolbox is more than enough to get her over.
