10 Hidden Meanings Behind AEW Revolution 2022 Attires

2. Adam Cole

CM Punk
AEW

Adam Cole never really explored his love of gaming during his time in NXT, but chose his first AEW pay-per-view headliner to pay homage to one of his very favourites.

Emerging as the Master Chief from Halo, Cole looked ready for the war of his life in ring as well as one he's probably had more than once with fellow streaming buddies Tyler Breeze, Cesaro and Xavier Woods.

It's notable that Cole chose this night to indulge. Having already stepped into Kenny Omega's spot on the card and The Elite, this felt like another attempt to tacitly replace 'The Best Bout Machine'. With Don Callis' Buy-In promo teasing Omega's eventual return, could this memorable look be one added wrinkle to an increasingly detailed micro-feud?
