7. Kinshasa - Shinsuke's WWE Run Isn't The Greatest, But His Finish Is Named After Him

To understand Shinsuke Nakamura's present, you need to learn about his past.

Before migrating to the States for his WWE retirement tour, the King of Strong Style used a similarly nasty knee strike to the head as his finisher. In NJPW, it was known as 'Bomaye', in reference to the Bantu word translating as 'Kill him!' chanted by Congolese fans during Muhammad Ali's famous 1974 'Rumble in the Jungle' against George Foreman.

Upon arriving in NXT, the etymology of 'bomaye' was a little too violent for Nakamura's new employers - not to mention too closely associated with his run in a rival group. The face-crushing patella was subtly renamed the 'Kinshasa' - the capital city of then-Zaire (today DR Congo), where Ali memorably did exactly as his crowd demanded.
