Sheamus is Irish, so obviously everything about his wrestling persona has to be reductively based around his ethnicity, from the Uilleann pipes which herald his arrival to the Celtic crosses adorning most of his apparel.

Naturally then, this extends to his wide array of moves. Although his finisher, the Brogue Kick, is a very witty play on the word used for the lyrical Irish accent and a shoe, White Noise and the Celtic Cross are a bit, well, wank.

However, the Dubliner's set of chest-clubs to a prone opponent on the ropes, known locally as the 'Beats of the Bodhrán', is intriguingly named. If you hadn't guessed, a bodhrán is a sort of traditional Irish drum, often beat with the bare palm. Generally speaking, professional bodhráns don't bang their instrument quite as violently as the Celtic Warrior.
