10 Highly Underrated WWE Wrestler Themes

4. Snake Bit - Jake "The Snake" Roberts

Few wrestlers can say they changed the game quite like Jake "The Snake" Roberts.

Not only is Roberts credited with inventing the DDT - one of the most popular and innovated wrestling moves of all time - he was also a quiet, menacing presence in a world of big personalities and shouty promos. Roberts' style influenced countless others and he was truly a standout performer, despite never winning a single championship during his time in the WWF.

To fit his reptilian gimmick, The Snake needed music that was creepy, unorthodox, and unrelenting. That's exactly what he got with "Snake Bit".

It was almost like the low, pulsing theme was trying to pound its way into your head, much like Jake and his infamous mind games. It was the perfect fit for his character and there's a reason that the music stayed with him for pretty much his entire WWF career.

When you consider how popular the themes of guys like Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, and The Ultimate Warrior still are to this day, it's sad to see music as great as Roberts' get overlooked.

An underrated theme for a thoroughly underrated wrestler.
