10 Highly Underrated WWE Wrestler Themes

2. Broken Dreams - Drew McIntyre

One of the biggest travesties of the modern wrestling era is that when Drew McIntyre returned to WWE in 2017, he didn't have his old theme music.

McIntyre was originally part of the WWE from 2007-14 and was labelled "The Chosen One" by Vince McMahon himself.

McIntyre was let go after his main roster career fizzled out, but completely turned his career around on the indies. He became one of the hottest properties on the market and was quickly snapped back up by NXT in 2017.

McIntyre's current theme music, "Gallantry", plays heavily on his Scottish roots, combining bagpipe sounds with a heavy rock beat. Whilst this music fits his character somewhat, it's not nearly as good as the music he was coming out to nearly a decade ago.

"Broken Dreams" is a masterpiece of a wrestling theme; it feels humongous right from the start and is sinister-sounding enough to put the fear into any opponent. Just look at the fan-made titantron movie for McIntyre, combining clips from his current run with his old music. It's a perfect fit.

I guess this music was shelved as not to remind people of McIntyre's less-than-impressive first WWE, but honestly, this is a huge oversight on the part of WWE.
