10 Hottest Free Agents In Wrestling In 2023

This one is speculative, but it could lead to a very interesting year for one of the best tag teams on the planet.

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler of FTR recently said that they were considering leaving AEW after their current contracts expire. As the duo signed in May 2020 and AEW contracts typically last for three years, that would mean that they are set to depart the promotion in the middle of 2023.

This would line up with their recent booking. Not only did they fail to win the AEW Tag Titles from The Acclaimed, but they also dropped the Ring of Honor straps to The Briscoes.

If they lose the IWGP Tag Team Titles at Wrestle Kingdom 17, then that would be another indicator that they are out the AEW door.

Not only are FTR Top Guys, they're also Triple H guys. As The Revival, they played a huge role in NXT's golden years. You'd expect Daddy Trips to be on the phone as soon as Dax and Cash became available.

However, the team themselves had said that they would like to just work independent dates after leaving AEW. So who knows where they'll end up.
