10 HUGE AEW Full Gear 2020 Predictions You Need To Know

3. The End Of The Inner Circle

MJF Chris Jericho
AEW

MJF simply joining the Inner Circle is too simplistic a next step for this saga. Why would a man as egotistical as 'The Salt of the Earth' accept the rule of another, particularly when he has just defeated said other on pay-per-view? It's hard to believe that a guy whose catchphrase is "I'm better than you, and you know it" would accept being second-in-command to anyone, let alone a felled opponent, so expect the resolution to be something more complicated.

A total Inner Circle split is a strong possibility. Sammy Guevara and Ortiz don't want anything to do with MJF in the stable, Jake Hager appears to still support Jericho, while Santana looks nonplussed either way. AEW has done the groundwork to split these people off in separate directions - and the timing is on the money.

The Inner Circle has started to outlive its use as a wackier, more comedy-orientated group. A split wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for them right now, and MJF should spark it.
