10 Huge AEW Revolution Predictions You Need To Know

1. Cody vs. MJF

If much of the MJF vs. Cody feud has come from Dusty Rhodes' playbook, so too will Revolution.

'The American Dream' mastered the art of making his audience wait for the heel's ultimate comeuppance. Rarely would he blow it off in the first bout, instead writing several chapters before finally, in a moment of complete catharsis, the babyface scored his victory. The trick is holding it off to the point that the fans are gagging for the hero to slay the villain - and we're not quite there yet with Cody and MJF.

Sure, AEW could have Cody win on Saturday and it'd probably be pretty satisfying, but they'd be sacrificing a bigger moment later down the line. 'The American Nightmare' needs a major setback here. He has taken his lashings, defeated Wardlow, and not touched Maxwell all year. Now, he must be knocked back a peg.

If he wasn't already, MJF is coming out of this pay-per-view a made man, as there's absolutely no way Cody won't do everything in the world to help get him over. Pro-wrestling's next mega-heel arrives at Revolution.

Winner: MJF.
