10 HUGE Tests Wrestlers Failed

4. The Rock Doesn't Get Roman Reigns Over

It would make for a killer feud now.

Imagine The Rock, returning, basking in the adulation of fans which might be possible when you dumb f*ckers eventually realise that a mask isn't a forcefield that allows you to essentially dry-hump somebody and reach over their shoulder to grab something from the top shelf of a supermarket.

Roman's music hits. He brings up the 2015 Royal Rumble. Tells Rock that he purposefully set out to embarrass him. This won't do. He eventually demands that he is acknowledged as the greatest wrestler to have emerged from the Anoa'i dynasty. The premise of the biggest WrestleMania match WWE has left is established with a stunning dynamic: Roman's unsettling menace contrasted with Rock's breezy, crowd-pleasing charisma, the tension and suspense escalating with every insult.

It would at least make the events of 2015 somewhat worthwhile in retrospect. Rock was dispatched in the post-match to help garner Roman a more positive reaction - somehow, that they knew this measure was needed to diffuse the bad idea didn't stop them from proceeding with the bad idea - and the fans saw through it. Rock was asked to get the guy who needed all the help he could to get over. While helping him.

Braindead circular logic did not, funnily enough, work out.
