10 HUGE WWE Clash At The Castle Predictions You Need To Know

3. Roman Reigns (c) Vs. Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre looked a lock for winning the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship when Vince McMahon was still in power.

It didn't make much sense, McIntyre had failed to recapture the momentum of early 2020, and Reigns hadn't been booked to look anywhere weak enough to even show vulnerability against the 'Scottish Psychopath', but the former titleholder didn't look anywhere near ready to reclaim it.

Gradually though, WWE have made it work. A video package about McIntyre's struggles both before and after being Champion was impossibly brilliant, and at this point it would be a crueler call not to strap him than to keep Roman's reign alive.

30 years on from giving Davey Boy Smith a hometown moment for the ages, WWE will do the same for Drew, even if they intend to switch it back long before 2023's Road To WrestleMania. McIntyre might never be the guy, but there's no guy that's more right place/right night than him.

Winner - Drew McIntyre
