10 HUGE WWE Crown Jewel Predictions You Need To Know

1. D-Generation-X Vs. The Brothers Of Destruction

D-Generation-X will win, but can anything about all of this be taken seriously?

It's hard enough to take images of the four men in Crown Jewel's main event seriously, let alone engage in the prospect of a full match between them after the quartet engaged in a ludicrous banter battle at last month's Super Show-Down.

This match is an exercise from WWE that will do what they relentlessly lambasted WCW for during the height of the Monday Night Wars. This match is a fantasy of those fans with brains nostalgically microwaved by a different time, unlike the cold and stiff frames of those that actually have to produce the physical outcome. This match is devoid of goodwill, not just because of a depressing build-up but the even more depressing circumstances than envelope the entire show.

This is match is Shawn Michaels' return to the ring.

It's impossible to fully reconcile until it happens. How will Shawn look in the match? What has he got left in the tank? What will he do about finally having to expose all of his chrome dome? What colour tights will he wear? Will he remember to keep the glowsticks away from the front row in case the green liquid inside leaks out on the ringside sofas much like our brains spilling from our crainiums just contemplating this entire show?

Winners: D-Generation-X
