10 HUGE WWE Crown Jewel Predictions You Need To Know

4. Kurt Angle Vs. Randy Orton

DX Brothers Of Distruction
WWE

Showing the guts and determination that won him "an Olympic gold medal with a broken freakin' neck" in 1996, Angle's weathered frame won't be able to hold up against a fresh Randy Orton out for blood.

The two have the opportunity to tell an incredibly evocative story with the Raw General Manager playing the ultimate sympathetic underdog against his younger healthier opponent.

Though he'll refuse to sell nervousness on the night, 'The Viper' will be rattled slightly when the reality sets in that he will lose his job if he loses this very match. It'll be then Angle has a chance, but the body will be too weak despite the mind's will to win.

Escaping to the ropes from the anklelock, Orton will pop up quickly with an RKO that scores him a World Cup as well as job security on SmackDown Live. Expect the two to meet again soon too - by virtue of the win, Paige will announce Orton as Team SmackDown's Survivor Series captain to face off against a Raw squad lead by squabbling head honchos Angle and Baron Corbin.

Winner: Randy Orton
