Asuka and Nia Jax have yet to have a WWE match that exploits the curious chemistry between the pair, but it definitely does exist. At NXT TakeOver: The End, the duo had a clash that rivalled Jax' career-best performance against Bayley at December's London show six months earlier.

In there with exactly the right storyteller, Nia is capable of doing lots with her limitations, and should laud her mammoth size advantage over her fellow NXT graduate in establishing even minute suspension of disbelief before the 'Empress Of Tomorrow' puts her away.

Asuka's undefeated streak almost certainly won't end at WrestleMania, but she'll at least get a singles title shot if it does. The abandonment of Charlotte's unique pay-per-view unbeaten run was met with rightful disdain this time last year with the 'Show Of Shows' creeping ever closer. The company won't make the same mistake again, especially with Asuka's own run carrying substantially more importance at this stage.

Botched interference from Women's Champion Alexa Bliss should simultaneously heat up her eventual clash with Asuka as well as diffusing any potential life-saving alliance between her and Jax ahead of the April showdown.
