7. Aleister Black Vs. AJ Styles

Defend the Aleister Black "push" over the last 12 months, fellow WWE apologists. Your writer is struggling.

A tag team with Ricochet didn't appear like much of a start when he was awkwardly hauled up to the main roster alongside 'The One & Only' before WrestleMania last year but good work goes a long way in that league and the pair were so in demand that they worked more than anybody else during the 'Show Of Shows' weekend.

His willingness to fight was suddenly and confusingly contradicted by his decision to sit in a cupboard and avoid having one. He got over in spite this when he was released - so much so that it felt like the shortlist of potential Brock Lesnar WrestleMania opponents included his name before Drew McIntyre yet again became the chosen one.

Anyway, best to consider all of this lest you Black Mass yourself in fury at how utterly awful the booking of this particular feud as been. AJ Styles is fighting The Undertaker, so combated his fake good super strength with good fake super strength in three-on-one assault to hand the former NXT Champion his first television pinfall defeat.

Black, in the saddest indictment of the broken system, will f*cking win here to make it seem as though he's emerged victorious from the feud. But Undertaker is the prize, and Styles is the one with his eyes on that. This isn't a push, merely a meaningless result.

Winner - Aleister Black
