10 HUGE WWE Extreme Rules 2019 Predictions You Need To Know

9. Aleister Black Vs. Cesaro

Brock Lesnar The New Day
WWE

Cesaro being the man apparently lingering outside Aleister Black's door for the last month was a rather odd payoff to an extremely odd post-WrestleMania run for the former NXT Champion, but the 'Swiss Superman' will almost certainly contribute to match ranging from good to excellent thanks to his knocky nine doors efforts.

That's certainly what WWE will be hoping for, anyway.

It's hard not to approach this pairing with a certain cynicism - Black's bullsh*t bordered on embarrassing at first before steering forcefully further into the silliness and away from the surprisingly good job they'd done with him since his March call-up. Anything other than appeasing opponent for the former Tommy End would have chased off the independent aficionados, even if he was booked to Black Mass some goober's head into an empty fifth row on the hard camera side.

As is, this will be a very pro wrestling redebut for a character currently at his most un-pro wrestling. Formulaic, despite this entire push thus far setting fire to format.

Winner - Aleister Black
