10 HUGE WWE Extreme Rules 2019 Predictions You Need To Know

5. Ricochet (c) Vs. AJ Styles

Brock Lesnar The New Day
WWE

Be great if this was great.

AJ Styles found himself under similar pressure against Seth Rollins earlier this year. A pressure that shouldn't really exist, if it wasn't for WWE's micromanagement of matches that would otherwise be exceptional by default. Seth Rollins isn't always as great as his social media self-belief would suggest, but he's outstanding on his day. In truth, Ricochet may be better still, especially as an opponent for 'The Phenomenal One'. This can be great. Greater than great. The best.

And yet, as with the Rollins/Styles clash, there exists a niggling feeling that overbooking of WWE production will get in the way of what the two of them may well be capable of. Hopefully the comparison extends to the match itself - Seth and Styles assembled something of a sleeper contender for WWE match of the year at Money In The Bank. This could easily surpass it, especially with the newly-drawn babyface/heel divide.

The result isn't irrelevant, but it's unimportant in terms of enjoyment. Be great if this was great.

Winner - Ricochet
