10 HUGE WWE Fastlane 2018 Predictions You Need To Know

Though both beloved by loyal fanbases for their scaled back style, Bobby Roode and Randy Orton's collective blandness could apply a sleeper on the pay-per-view crowd tighter than one either would ordinarily use to pad out a television match. 'Fastlane' will certainly feel like a misnomer seven minutes deep into this one.

Both are exceptionally gifted in there with more dynamic talents and/or when they have a serviceable storyline to work with. It's just a shame none of that is particularly the case here. Roode and Randy's SmackDown Live! squabbles haven't been awful, but nor have they particularly exciting either. Jinder Mahal's looming presence predictably hasn't been the spark needed to bring their conflict to life either.

If the match even avoids the curse of the B-show cheap finish, Roode's victory will only be to set a course for all three competing for the belt at WrestleMania. The blue brand's odd aping of Raw matches in recent months looks set to continue, with a Triple Threat US Title match mirroring the three way for Miz' own secondary strap.
