10 HUGE WWE Fastlane 2018 Predictions You Need To Know

6. Nakamura Night

Clearly without plans for the 'King Of Strong Style' after miraculously signing off on his Royal Rumble victory, Vince McMahon has outdone himself with a nothing match potentially destined to see the Number One contender booed out of the building for having the gaul to take on the sentimental and under-appreciated favourite Rusev.

It may have been Rusev Day for several months now, but outside of flogging some novelty calendars and giving him a t-shirt, the company don't seem that enthused with channelling the chants into something more meaningful. At approximately three consecutive pay-per-views he's been the hottest star on the show, but if he's not in management's orbit, it'll simply burn out like so many others.

Nakamura's yet to have a supercard singles match that rivalled anything he did in NJPW or NXT either. There'd never be quite as profitable a time for the man and the WWE machine as the wheels begin turning for his own Road To WrestleMania, but the circumstances seem yet again set to work against 'The Artist' as he attempts to paint some sort of stirring self-portrait before his own grand re-unveiling in April.
