Oy.

The Firefly Fun House Match was a mammoth achievement. Over half an hour or so of an empty arena WrestleMania, WWE took John Cena and Bray Wyatt time traveling through tumultuous times, all tied together by solid Sports Entertainment logic.

Wyatt, the evil mythical evil genius, had to unpick 'The Champ's psyche to ensure he didn't repeat the mistakes he'd made several years earlier. In concept, design and execution, the match put over Cena's power and presence while rehabilitating the mystique of The Fiend after his indifferent Universal Championship reign and the crushing loss to Bill Goldberg that concluded it. Big, big sh*t.

Speaking of which, Braun Strowman feels like pretender on the SmackDown throne, and that reputation won't be helped by a loss in his first pay-per-view defence. Similarly, Wyatt just can't afford a defeat so soon into this latest salvage job.

This match is going f*cking nowhere, a bit like the finish. It won't be clean, and The Fiend will leave 'The Monster Among Men' laying after the fact to set up a rematch that'll actually matter.

Winner (by disqualification) - Bray Wyatt
