10 HUGE WWE Money In The Bank 2021 Predictions You Need To Know

4. Roman Reigns (c) Vs. Edge

A blinder of a match to whip out of nowhere on an event that's simultaneously got to feel massive and like the show before the show with a WrestleMania-sized SummerSlam on the horizon, Edge's post-WrestleMania return as Roman Reigns' babyface rival was a shrewd move.

WWE put 'The Tribal Chief' all the way over at the 'Show Of Shows' when he stacked both Daniel Bryan and 'The Rated-R Superstar' up to decisively retain his Universal Championship. WWE did a reasonable job of having Edge explain his way out of that and into a singles rematch, and the inclusion of the Mysterios as back-up to fend off a potential Uso attack has added a bit of additional drama to the build.

As of writing, the six men will wage war on the first SmackDown in front of fans just 48 hours before the event, and one suspects it'll be chair-in-mouth stuff for the heels as a teaser that perhaps Reigns' time at the top really is over.

It isn't, obviously, and Edge's teased hostilities with Seth Rollins may feature at the finish to get them to SummerSlam too. All remarkably decent, this, and just the right time.

Winner - Roman Reigns
