10 HUGE WWE Royal Rumble 2020 Predictions You Need To Know

5. Men's Royal Rumble Match

Echoing the thoughts of large swathes of the fans when he first used the expression in 2015 Bray Wyatt coldly uttering "anyone but you, Roman" was one of the few things the original version of the character managed to make stick on an opponent (apart from that viscous acidic bolognaise he tipped on Finn Bálor), and the worry here is that the audience at large still feels the same.

'The Big Dog' has enjoyed measured success since revealing the magnificent news that his leukemia was in remission in early 2019, but has been kept away from title glory in order to inform this very scene.

All as long as he doesn't generate boos yet again.

Reigns was unfairly at the centre of much of the hatred around the mid-2010s Royal Rumble matches, and doesn't remotely deserve that sort of heat this time around. Not least when matches against either Brock Lesnar or The Fiend Bray Wyatt stand up as viable WrestleMania options.

Expect several potential surprises (more on that later), but none of them will overcome the will of the company's intent to get one of their major prospects back where he belongs.

Winner: Roman Reigns
