10 HUGE WWE Royal Rumble 2021 Predictions You Need To Know

8. Roman Reigns (c) Vs. Kevin Owens

Roman Reigns finally tasted a bit of retribution for his relentless assaults on Kevin Owens on the penultimate SmackDown before the pay-per-view. But the problem with this match isn't in how lopsided the angle has been, but in how overwhelmingly weighted towards 'The Tribal Chief' the actual results have been.

Owens and Reigns have had two very good matches, but both have been won by the Universal Champion. He's winning the matches and the bulk of the beatdowns, so how else can this possibly end other than 'KO' finally gaining redemption by taking the thing Reigns holds dearest.

Only, that's just simple old kayfabe isn't it? Wrestling fans are trained to see beyond the story, and WWE simply haven't booked for the reasonable reality that it's WrestleMania season and the company's biggest heel should be heading into the 'Show Of Shows' with the title.

Switching all of that off will be for the best on the night - the two will likely have yet another scorcher even if it's ultimately undermined by the enormous lack of doubt about the outcome.

Winner - Roman Reigns
