8. The Beast Is Back

Kofi Kingston's slightly charmless WWE Championship run might have peaked at WrestleMania 35, but a banger with Brock Lesnar would at least allow for some fireworks at its conclusion. Ironically, it'll be right as the pair get their pyro and ballyhoo back too.

The company could book this to mirror 'The Beast's mutilation of John Cena at SummerSlam 2014 - a catastrophic night for Kingston that ends with his body broken and historic title reign in tatters. More appealing would be the (loose) formula Lesnar followed with AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan and Finn Bálor. Brock's magnificent at playing the almost-slain dragon before breathing his angry fire and fury over his eventual victim. This, if nothing else, would leave plenty for Kofi to ruminate on ahead of a rematch that could come as early as this Sunday.

For Kingston superfans, the hope lives on that he may somehow prevail, but even escaping with the belt here wouldn't signal a continuation at this point. Brock wouldn't even be wrestling on this event if the WWE/Fox bosses didn't deem him crucial to its success - he's the figurehead they want, regardless of New Day's mammoth fanbase.
