Alright so there’s not exactly a public clamour for his inclusion in 2019, but a WrestleMania without John Cena just feels… weird. Weirder than his new haircut.

Last year he got stadium-sloshed and put on one of the most bizarre segments in the event's history - the long, long, long awaited Mania match with the Undertaker being a 3 minute comedy squash - and since then we’ve only had sporadic sightings of him and his new Hadouken finisher.

The bottom line here is; what is there for him to actually do? No obvious singles match is currently on the table, nor is there any appetite for another Special Guest slot. Hosting duties are likely the best he can hope for but, even then, it's a push.
