10 Huge WWE Stars In Danger Of Missing WrestleMania 35
3. Dean Ambrose
Absolutely nobody knows exactly what’s happening with Dean Ambrose. Nobody.
Well, sorry, no, maybe Dean Ambrose knows what’s going on but given the previous stories we’ve heard about WWE’s murky internal communications and how well they keep the performers in the loop, there’s every chance he’s singing off a different hymn sheet.
There’s still every chance - and indeed plenty of reports - that he’s leaving the company at the end of his contract in April. If that’s the case then there’s arguably little point in including him at all come WrestleMania, beyond it merely being a nice gesture to a performer who has given them his best years.
If he stays then the very public wrangling over his contract likely mean it’s an angle WWE could lean into but, until that’s confirmed, the company will probably proceed under the assumption he’s a lame duck. After all it’s a lot easier to build him back up over time than it is to suddenly kill a push next month.
