10 Huge WWE Stars In Danger Of Missing WrestleMania 36

10. Kofi Kingston

There will almost definitely be some sort of giant multi-team tag match at WrestleMania for the SmackDown belts, but that's far from guaranteed. Several other championships feel like better contenders for the traditional big, messy, midcard scrap this year, and if that's off the table The New Day are not the team most likely to challenge.

Despite the obvious temptation to put Otis in a match with Ziggler, Heavy Machinery are the most over tag team in the division at the moment, and WWE should hopefully learn the lessons of past years by giving them a fan-pleasing showcase at WrestleMania. If that's the case, it relegates Kofi Kingston, last year's biggest story, a man who rode to the WWE Championship on the crest of a popularity wave, without a match.

There surely can't have been a bigger fall from grace in the space of two WrestleManias. Certainly not in recent years. Certainly not the fans choice for a WWE Championship match being relegated to, at best, a big messy tag team contest with their title aspirations a distant and disappointing memory...

Sorry, what's that? Shinsuke Nakamura?

Yeah sorry, forgot about him.
