10 Huge WWE Superstar Shake-up Predictions To Revitalise Raw

8. Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable

Though in-ring capability was never in doubt, Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin's creative direction was predictably stifled by an inability to to elevate their personalities in losing efforts against perennial blue brand stewards The Usos.

The booking team's disinterest was of particular disservice to Gable, having worked diligently to get the duo over just as he had in the embryonic days of American Alpha in NXT. An underrated and under-utilised promo, comparisons to Kurt Angle weren't just borne from a shared amateur and Olympic background.

The last loss to The Usos was particularly crushing for the pair too. Well beaten in the angle, the team ceased even to be pressed up against a glass ceiling on the so-called 'Land Of Opportunity', not least with The Bludgeon Brothers beginning their own pre-WrestleMania rampage.

Monday Night Raw won't freshen up the duo, but that's not what they particularly require. A raft of new opponents will offer a reminder of their value, and Gable's potential interactions with both Kurt Angle and former partner Jason Jordan offer intriguing avenues of action should the GM stick around and his 'son' make a miraculous recovery from his current neck concerns.
