10 Iconic Wrestling Finishing Moves You Didn't Know Were Stolen

3. Styles Clash

The internet nearly lost its sh*t in 2009 when Michelle McCool stole AJ Styles finishing move - dubbing it the Faith Breaker - but those same fans should also realize that Styles himself borrowed the move from a former WWE semi-superstar.

Maybe it was his stature or his silly character or the fact that he once wrestled a match in a children's playground ball pit, but Crash Holly has rarely gotten much credit for the impact he had on the WWE.

Not only was he the face of the Hardcore Championship - a blessing and a curse, no doubt - racking up a ridiculous 22 reigns under the 24/7 title defense rule, but he also showcased the Styles Clash long before AJ Styles made the move so ridiculously famous.

Depending on the day, Holly called his belly-to-back inverted mat slam the Crash Landing or the Bottom Feeder. But regardless of the name, it operated exactly like the Styles Clash, except that Crash's opponent was always immediately rolled over into a pin.

Which...honestly makes a lot more sense than the way Styles does it.
