10 Ideas To Salvage WWE Survivor Series
3. Title-For-Title
Admittedly, the prospect of WWE’s two world champions, two women’s champions, and two secondary and tag team champs facing each other is a pretty cool deal. That sort of thing actually doesn’t happen very often, so it makes for an interesting situation.
But other than the bragging rights of Roman Reigns defeating Drew McIntyre, or seeing how Sami Zayn tries to survive Bobby Lashley, there really aren’t any other implications for those matches.
However, what if one (or more) of these champion-versus-champion matches actually had both titles on the line? Someone could theoretically leave Survivor Series a double champ, à la Becky Lynch. Maybe it’s not known which champions’ match will actually be a dual title bout until the PPV, just to keep things in suspense.
It would put very real stakes on the line, and it could be a way to give a big push to someone. Imagine Lashley holding both the United States and Intercontinental Championships and defending both on both brands for a period. He would gain a lot of exposure and could build up even more credibility as a world title contender while holding two secondary titles simultaneously.
