CM Punk enthusiasts will enjoy this comparison to Shawn Michaels, so here goes. In 2011, Punk beat John Cena at Money In The Bank, then blew a kiss Vinnie Mac's way and walked out with the WWE Title. The promotion moved swiftly to crown a new champ before Punk returned with his original belt and disputed that.

Sound familiar?

Michaels walked out on the then-WWF in 1993 (albeit for real), and Razor Ramon became the new Intercontinental Champ. The problem? Shawn still had his belt, and he returned waving it around and claiming to be the true IC Champion. This all resulted in that hot ladder match at WrestleMania X.

There, the federation crowned an undisputed Intercontinental Champ. In 2011, Punk's return meant he'd wrestle fellow champion Cena to thrash out who deserved to be "undisputed". Punk's walk out, return and blow off match was reminiscent of Michaels vs. Razor from 1993-1994, but that's not a bad thing.
