A celebrity feature good enough to probably sneak onto the main show in hindsight, Mojo Rawley's lifetime friendship with New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski resulted in old fashioned celebrity moment and a remarkable battle royal victory.

Ignoring the total and utter shambles WWE have made with poor Braun Strowman's creative direction leading into the 'Show of Shows', Rawley's victory actually paid off a longterm angle he'd quietly been working on Smackdown Live! and Talking Smack since his partner Zack Ryder first got injured.

Using the talk show supplement to address himself 'getting serious', he discussed how important the friendship with 'Gronk' had been in his life and career, which then tied into his pledge to win the seemingly unimportant pre-show 30-man war.

Gronkowski himself was excellent in accentuating it. Eventually making it into the match after a clearly uninformed security guard earned her money by racing across the arena floor to try and prevent him getting involved, he hit the ring with vim and his tackle to Jinder Mahal drew a superb reaction from the live crowd.

Leaving the mop-up to his best mate, he exited rapidly then allowed Mojo to shockingly shine, scooping the trophy in the most unlikely of circumstances.
