10 Incredible Death Defying WWE Leaps

1. Shane McMahon Crushes Big Show With An Elbow From 50 Feet High - Backlash 2001

tumblrtumblrShane McMahon is filthy rich and never had any reason to put his body on the line to entertain WWE fans, yet that was something he did all the time. At Backlash 2001 in a Last Man Standing match against Big Show, he took it one step further. The story of the match was that Shane couldn't really compete with Show, but his buddy Test showed up to help him deal with Show. The action went over to the staging area with Shane climbing up the scaffolding on the Backlash set to get away from him. Test ended up preventing Show from climbing up and he did enough to keep him down. With Shane standing above Big Show about 50 feet high in the air and Test holding down Show on a black table/landing area, there was only one thing left for Shane to do. He had to jump. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyTBHQPSG5k It was one of the craziest things we've ever seen in a wrestling match. He dropped elbow from 50 feet high. Test actually helped Shane stand up to allow him to win the match. You might recall a SummerSlam 2000 match against Steve Blackman where he took a crazy bump off the set that was similar to this, but that was a bump rather than an offensive move. This one was the most unique offensive attack we've ever seen. The move was incredible and it showed that Shane wasn't some spoiled rich kid. He was never afraid to put his body on the line. This moment proved it more than any other.
