10 Incredible WCW Storylines That Never Got Resolved
2. Sting Becomes The Human Torch
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xkn5ua_sting-vs-vampiro-human-torch-match_sport Vampiro turned on Sting during the opening salvo of the Millionaires Club vs. New Blood angle in 2000. It all came to a head at Great American Bash in the Human Torch match where the objective is to set your opponent on fire. Vampiro won the match after pouring kerosene all over Sting, dragging him to the top of the giant tron where the two brawled until the lights went out, came back on, and Sting fell from the top as he was engulfed in flames, crashing through the stage below. This should have killed Sting, but this is pro wrestling so some gruesome disfigurement was expected upon his return. This was teased for several weeks as the stinger wore a mask that made him look like the invisible man. What would he look like? is what everyone wanted to know. Once the mask came off, there were no burns or scars. Just the customary black and white face paint without any sign of damage and no explanation for Stings miraculous recovery.
