Yes, you read that right: Chris Hero once wrestled for over three hours, in one of the longest recorded wrestling bouts in history.

Taking part in a match dubbed an "Infinity Gauntlet", Hero wrestled ten men in 17 consecutive falls with rotating opposition - all in the aid of charity. For every $500 that was donated, Hero would continue to wrestle for an additional half an hour. The final fall even went an extra ten minutes, bringing the total match time to 190 minutes from start to finish.

The colossal bout was presented by the SMASH promotion of Canada, with the match taking place in the Cross Body Academy in Waterloo, Ontario. As a result of the marathon match, Hero raised $3440 dollars for ALS Canada.

This wasn't the first time Hero had made a name for himself by going the distance either; Hero and CM Punk went over 90 minutes for a 'Two Out of Three Falls' match in IWA Mid-South back in 2003. The pair even made a habit of it and wrestled in three more hour-long matches in 2004.

Nevertheless, Hero's capability to go three hours is so impressive, it's hard to even comprehend. The fact that it was for charity makes it all the more admirable.
