6. WCW Collision In Korea Event Drew 310,000 Fans
While WWE can boast the (slightly exaggerated) 101,000 figure for WrestleMania 32 in Dallas, the WCW/New Japan Collision in Korea event in 1995 blows that figure out of the water.
The two-day supershow marked the first time that a North American wrestling company had ever held a PPV event in North Korea. According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, the event attracted an insane 310,000 fans in total, with 150,000 people on Day 1 and another 160,000 present for Day 2 - although many of those fans were forced to attend.
Naturally, this number has since been inflated further by all parties, with claims of as much as 165,000 for Day 1 and 190,000 for Day 2. If those estimates were true, the attendance figure would be even bigger at 355,000 attendees overall.
Boasting a card that featured the likes of WCW's Chris Benoit, 2 Cold Scorpio and The Steiner Brothers with New Japan's Yuji Nagata, Masahiro Chono and Shinya Hashimoto, the event was just as big in terms of booking too. The main event saw Japanese legend, Antonio Inoki, defeat WCW icon, Ric Flair, in just under 15 minutes.
