10 Incredible Wrestling Title Wins That Led To AWFUL Title Reigns

9. Toni Storm (AEW Women’s Title)

Sorry, Tony Khan, but the way you've handled Toni Storm since she arrived in AEW has been nothing short of atrocious. Then-Women's Champ Thunder Rosa went down with injury, so Tony made Storm interim champ at All Out 2022. That was...fine, but the interim thing bugged pretty much everybody.

Including Toni herself.

She spoke in interviews about ridding the pesky "ah but" from her record and becoming the official champ. Later, Rosa forfeited the title she was carrying around and AEW retroactively made Storm's run a proper one. Unfortunately, Toni's 76-day sprint felt like a marathon for viewers tuning into Dynamite every week.

The only retroactive decision Khan should've made was to go back and wipe this one from the record books, because Storm would've been better off without it. Her win over Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida and Jamie Hayter at All Out was a newsworthy moment, but the resultant title run summed up everything wrong with Toni in AEW to date.
